Naati Cafe
About This Spot
Stepping into Naati Cafe feels like discovering a quiet, cherished corner of Koramangala where time slows down just enough to savor moments and meals alike. The space itself is unpretentious—a humble, tucked-away spot with simple seating and an atmosphere that allows the food and company to take center stage. It’s the kind of place where the everyday rush of Bengaluru gently pauses, inviting you to settle in and breathe in the comforting aromas wafting from the kitchen.
Here, the pace is relaxed but purposeful, a nod to traditions holding strong in an ever-changing city. Wooden tables often carry fresh banana leaves as plates, immediately grounding the dining experience in the earthiness of Karnataka’s culinary roots. Conversations move softly around you; laughter feels natural and easy.
At Naati Cafe, meals unfold like stories rooted deeply in South Indian flavors — robust and soulful without pretense. The way the dosas arrive, crisp on the outside and tender within, paired with rich, spiced curries, feels like visiting a friend’s home more than an eatery. The marinated chicken and mutton dishes carry the subtle smoky undertones of a kitchen that’s been lovingly tended to for years, with each bite echoing recipes passed through generations.
The charm here is in the contrasts: rustic setting meets heightened attention to authentic flavors, basic amenities meet warm human moments. This balance is what transforms a simple meal into a small celebration of local food culture. Whether you come craving the unique tang of a sour Goli Soda or the comforting warmth of a well-spiced soup, Naati Cafe invites you to slow down and relish each bite as part of a peaceful, grounded experience.

Naati Cafe is my go-to whenever the craving for Dosa with Chicken Curry or Mushroom Palav hits. Their Kaali Thuppa Dosa stands out with its crispy outside and fluffy inside—rivaling even the most traditional dosa joints. Dip it into their hot sherwa, and the way it soaks up the flavor is just a burst of taste in every bite. Mushroom and Chicken Palav are packed with local flavors and never disappoint. I’ve tried their mutton before—it’s flavorful but a bit chewy. If you're in the mood for authentic Mandya-Mysore style Naati Oota, this place is a must-try.

Not at all judging a place by its looks cause that would be injustice. And as usual, it was exploring time. Not a posh spot by any means, a mediocre spot with limited seating and basic dining amenities. That being said, it gave me good vibes only from their aroma from the kitchen. Thuppa koli dry - Deep fried chicken tossed in special masala and ghee; freaking tender BL meat with exquisite flavors from every bite. A bit crispy on the outside with perfect spice level from the green chili, very filling!! Mutton pulav with koduva mutton - Wholesome mutton pulav cooked in traditional dum style with the right fragrance and the perfect balance between spice and sour from the Koduva flavored mutton. The peppery kachampuli (Mysore style) was spot on and if you're a fan of such taste notes, you'll love it!! Koli pepper dry - Awesomatic fried chicken tossed in spicy pepper; tender, juicy and kicky from the pepper. The slit green chillies on top of it aided in activating all the taste buds. Fry piece mutton pulav with majjiga - The same dum style pulav topped with fried mutton which was semi gravy; soft meat and fragrant rice made it pleasant though it had bones. Do have a glass of buttermilk along with it to soothe the tummy Egg boti dosa with namoor Kari chops - It depends on how your affinity is towards Spare parts because some find it rubbery while others prefer that consistency. The boti on the dosa was cooked the same way but with the hot and soupy mutton chops, this was heavenly. The meat was perfect and easily glides down from the bone, Perfect!! Goli soda - A must to end the meal with even though this is just a drink, helps ease the tummy from the tasteful meat Parking would be challenging considering the prime spot this place is located in. During peak hours this place might get crowded but never had an issue with waiting time for seat and food. This place is budget friendly and we can get the taste of our home cooked food in all of their dishes. Authenticity at its best.

Dose, ragi mudde, mutton pepper fry, Bellary chicken, mutton thuppa are super good here. Mutton palav is always over we I go. Have to go here on time for that. Ghee rice is also super good. They do all the non veg dishes in a vegetarian version and my vegetarian friends love it too. Try maadi.

I really liked this place. It's tucked away in a corner and a bit difficult to spot. It has a simple setup and you always get seating. The food is really delicious. I loved the Raggi mudde and mutton chops. The biryani was also really good. One of the cheapest and better places right at the centre of Koramangala. Will recommend this place and certainly will visit again.

I visited Naati Café in Koramangala on a Thursday, and it turned out to be an absolutely memorable dining experience! The place perfectly blends authentic Naati-style Karnataka cuisine with a warm, rustic ambiance. Everything is served traditionally on a fresh banana leaf (plantain leaf), which instantly adds that homely and earthy touch that I loved. I tried the Kuri (mutton) chops, chicken fry, thuppa khaali dose, and biryani rice, and each dish was a burst of local flavor and authenticity. The mutton chops were tender, spicy, and perfectly cooked — easily one of the best I’ve had in Bangalore. The chicken fry had that bold Naati-style masala with just the right crispness, while the thuppa khaali dose was soft, buttery, and comforting. The biryani rice tied the meal together beautifully with its aromatic spices and rich flavor. The staff were friendly, service was quick, and the entire place had such positive and traditional vibes. You can really feel the pride they take in serving genuine regional food. For anyone who enjoys authentic Karnataka-style non-veg dishes in a simple yet soulful setting, Naati Café Koramangala is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be returning soon for another hearty, flavorful meal!

A friend and I were in the area and wanted to grab a bite - some local stuff. Another friend suggested to try the food at this place, so we asked for recommendation on the food too. He said - everything is good. That, apart from trying food at a new place, was quite motivating for us and we decided to eat here. On a Saturday evening, I’d expect crowd, but the place was more or less empty - just one or two tables occupied. We checked the menu and ordered for fry piece mutton pulao and thuppa mutton. The staff seemed quite polite and helpful in answering all questions we had. The food arrived and it looked pretty inviting. The thuppa mutton was spicy and bursting of flavours from the spice and the meat itself. The meat was well cooked. The pulao seemed more like a khichdi to me - kinda soggy, but I’m not complaining as it was delicious with well cooked and succulent chunks of meat with spicy flavours. The place looks promising enough to warrant a few more visits to try out more items .

If you’re looking for a pakka Naati style experience, this is the place. The Ragi Mudde was soft and perfectly prepared - pairing it with their spicy Nati Koli Saaru is a must. The flavors are raw, bold, and hit all the right spots. No fancy business here, just pure, and authentic taste.
